However, in fact, these crop circles are all artificially created disguises. The plan was initially initiated by two friends, Doug Ball and Dave Jolly, in 1978. Inspired by a letter about the “UFO Nest” published in New Scientist magazine, they decided to have some fun and see if they could make one themselves.
